Donation Workshops Gallery 2022
Drawing for the Planet's Donation Workshop Programme was created in 2022. The programme involves artist and Founder, Jane Lee McCracken delivering on site and virtual workshops to schools and cultural institutions. We ask participating schools to donate what they can afford towards the workshop so that we can deliver further workshops to more children and communities across the globe, raising further awareness about Earth's precious wildlife.
This gallery features drawings created in a selection of Jane's Donation Workshops, 2022. We would like to thank participating education establishments for their kind generosity.
OCEANS WORKSHOP: KETTINS PRIMARY, BLAIRGOWRIE
17 and 22 June 2020
Prior to Jane's virtual workshops Mrs McKinlay and her class from village school, Kettins researched and selected characterful ocean species, many of which have not been represented in our galleries. We would like to thank Head Teacher Rachel Cross, Mrs McKinlay and participating children for your kind support for Drawing for the Planet.

WHERE DID ALL THE ANIMALS GO? CELEBRATION WORKSHOP, GREAT NORTH MUSEUM: HANCOCK
19 April 2022
After 2.5 years in creation, Jane finally completed the Where did all the Animals Go? (WDATAG?) exhibition in March 2022, after delays due to COVID. 100 drawings by Malaysian children were added to the exhibition. There are now 700 global schoolchildren’s wildlife drawings on permanent display at Great North Museum: Hancock, UK. To celebrate completing the exhibition Jane ran a Donation Workshop at the museum, where visitors had the opportunity to draw Malaysian species as well as other global wildlife. The following is a selection of drawings from the workshop. View all drawings in Wild Postcard Gallery 2022 here.

UK AND UKRAINE WILDLIFE WORKSHOP: BELSAY PRIMARY SCHOOL, NORTHUMBERLAND
22 March 2022
These drawings were made by Years 3 and 4 during Jane's workshop to celebrate iconic species of Ukraine and the UK. Ukraine is rich in wildlife and there are some endangered species, like the Zubowski's Plump Bush Cricket that are only found in Ukraine, as well as species that inhabit both countries such as the Wild Cat and Red Squirrel. We hope that these amazing drawings make people smile.
