BRAZILIAN AND PERUVIAN AMAZONIAN WILDLIFE

Drawing for the Planet's Brazilian and Peruvian Amazonian Wildlife project in partnership with medical relief charity Global First Responder and its missions to Brazil and Peru gives children from Brazil, Peru and the UK the opportunity to learn about and draw remarkable species that live in the Amazon.

In 2025 Global First Responder took our drawing kits on mission to Brazilian and Peruvian Amazon where children created ballpoint pen drawings of local wildlife while they waited for medical treatment.

Our Treasurer, Dr Kirsten Rogers, a UK dentist, volunteered on the mission to Brazil to provide dental treatment to local communities in several locations and directed volunteers to deliver the drawing workshops where around one hundred children participated in the project.
